AquaSorb® 4000 is a high activity granular activated carbon manufactured by steam activation from selected grades of reag glomerated low ash coal. As a result of the manufacturing process, the product exhibits a homogenous pore structure and a very high purity. In addition, the material wets very rapidly leaving no floating particles. The material is a high density adsorbent and provides maximum volume activity. The excellent hardness and mechanical strength ensures negligible losses during backwashing, air scouring and multiple reactivations.
